FAQ

What does it do?

It lists every date in a year when moonrise or moonset lands within a few minutes of sunrise or sunset at your place. You can save the list as a CSV file or a calendar file.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The times are worked out in your browser. The place, year and settings you type are not sent anywhere, and "Use my location" is read by your browser only. The page also loads a small shared script that keeps an anonymous page-view and free-use count. Payment goes through Stripe on Stripe's own page. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay.

What does it cost?

Free try: 2 downloads for the year on screen. Unlock for £3.00, one payment, for unlimited downloads and for scanning up to 10 years in one file. Looking at the dates on screen is always free.

Refunds?

Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai.

Which browsers and devices?

Any recent browser on a phone or computer. It needs JavaScript. Nothing else special.

Times are computed in your browser from SunCalc (BSD-2-Clause); sunrise and sunset are the Sun's upper edge at the horizon, moon times are accurate to about a minute. Nothing you enter leaves this page.
